نبذة عن شركة KHALIFA SCHOOL

Our mission is to provide a safe educational environment for students. The school staff, parents and members of the community share our commitment towards achieving maximum students' independence, by developing their self- motivation and sense of responsibility. Khalifa School, founded in 1988, is recognized as the first private educational institution for special needs students in Kuwait. Khalifa School is located in the capital area of Kuwait and is easily approachable from all locations of the country. The School building is spread over a vast area including various departments, classrooms and facilities. The students are grouped into 35 classes according to their needs, chronological and developmental age. Students at Khalifa School range from three years to twenty-one years of age. Their mental and physical challenges include, but are not limited to, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay and Down Syndrome. Our programs provide a structured and individualized curriculum that focuses on the acquisition of life and functional skills, in accordance with local and international standards. We take pride in our highly trained national and international staff of qualified teachers, support service specialists, vocational trainers and medical team. Fine Art focuses on helping the children discover and display their talents through drawing, painting and various other art and craft activities. The students participate in national and international competitions. The School organizes various staff development workshops, educational as well as vocational, throughout the school year. A very significant feature of the School is to organize the “community awareness programs” through providing on-job-training to students and volunteers from various organizations and firms. The School arranges lectures and workshops for organizations that request information in the management of special needs children
