MID Contracting is a Jordanian limited liability company established in 1991 by a group of ambitious founders who started humbly in the local market, but with a vision to become global. The company's march towards achieving this vision involved plenty of success stories started with the execution of small and middle-sized projects that, gradually and with determination and accuracy, have gained the largest and most specialized projects in Contracting, Electro-mechanical, Bridges & Culverts, Buildings, Telecommunications, Interior Design, Water & Sewerage and Road Construction. MID Contracting was the first Jordanian General Contracting Company to achieve the ISO 9002 Certification in Jordan, this certification is an International recognition of the quality management and engineering standards the company implements and adopts. The Quality Management System has been recently upgraded to comply with the new revision of the ISO 9001-2000. Additionally, MID Contracting is currently in the implementation stage to achieve ISO 14000 Environmental Management System Certificate and 18000 Safety Management System Certificate. MID Contracting is classified by the Ministry of Public Works & Housing as a First Grade (highest grade) Contracting Company in all fields of specialties. In December 2002 the company was awarded King Abdullah II Award for Excellence / Major Services Sector, such a prize is an evidence of the local official recognition for excellence of the company.
