Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP), A joint venture company between Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco/ S.A) and Total (Total/ T.O) it is based in Jubail 2nd Industrial City. The head quarter is in Khobar. SATORP Refining and Petrochemical planned to be the first full-conversion refinery and the second biggest refinery in the area. It has finalized the awarding plan for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts that constitute thirteen different process packages of their Jubail joint venture refinery. The awarding of these contracts marks an important step in the execution of this 400,000 barrel per day, full-conversion refinery in Jubail.
