Vision: To develop an exceptional center in the Middle East specialized in Vitiligo research and melanocyte culture. Purpose: To do extensive research that leads to understanding the Vitiligo disease and improving its methods of treatment. To locally perform melanocyte culture systems and to train Saudi doctors and graduate students to do research in the Vitiligo and melanocyte culture field by organizing a variety of scientific events like lectures, workshops, and seminars. Objectives: 1. Develop an advanced laboratory specialized in finding the genetic and biological reasons behind the Vitiligo disease. 2. Assemble studies concerned with the improvement of the currently used Vitiligo treatments and the development of melanocyte culture techniques. 3. Construct a national record of the Vitiligo disease. 4. Train Saudi doctors and graduate students to do research in the Vitiligo and melanocyte culture field.
