Job Purpose To work with the OpCo Management Team to increase shareholder value for HEINEKEN by setting and supporting delivery of challenging OpCo financial and non financial targets within an effective and robust financial control environment; Support the development of OpCo business strategy, modelling options for business scenarios to ensure effective business decision making, and track and advise OpCo Management team on performance against target throughout the year Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and co ordinate the full business planning Governance Cycle for the OpCo and support the OpCo management team in delivering the; Rolling Forecasting RoFo ), 3 year Strategic Plan , Annual Budget, Performance Updates (BPR and QPR)
Lead and coordinate the analysis of market movements, forecast future trends and impact on the business
Develop, implement and update an operational plan (final budget), in line with the 3 year plan and regional financial objective
Plan, analyse and challenge OpCo support functions (HR, IT, etc..)
Monitor and develop insight on the quantitative and qualitative performance for the OpCo, and communicate this insight through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting
Analyse all OpCo spend and offer appropriate challenge, whilst also analysing and identifying opportunities for top line growth
Act as the first point of contact to Regional and Global business controllers for all matters related to business performance and Governance Cycle
Champion the efficiency and effectiveness of all financial and business processes, measuring and reporting on improvements
Lead projects within the OpCo, including the development of financial systems
Collaborate with the Reward lead to set the KPIs and targets for the Senior Management population including the OpCo Management Team
Ensure risks and opportunities are managed throughout the year and material business decisions take these risk and opportunities into accountActs as a business partner in the plants, assisting them in budgeting and controlling and expenditures.
Acts as a business partner in the plants, assisting them in budgeting and controlling and expenditures
Uploads the plants' financial data on the designated systems.
Runs the monthly closing process in the plants and reconciles the plants' expenses recorded on the system against the actual expenses.
Runs Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis in terms of volume, price and efficiency.
Supports the planning of OpEx, COGS and working capital in the plants.
Follows up on CapEx and OpEx on a regular basis.
Manages the working capital i.e. inventory and payables pillar for raw and packaging materials.
Consolidates all the working capital in terms of inventory and payables and reports the analysis.
Supports various ad-hoc projects, such as: opportunity assessment projects, raw material bucket, working capital for raw material, etc.
Submits financial reports as requested by the regional, global or local offices.
Acts as a support during external audits and provides any required financial documents and reports.
Attends planning and Daily Control System (DCS) meetings at the plants.
Manages opportunity assessment projects such as New Product Introduction (NPI) in terms of production costs and financial impact.
Develops and submits reports in a timely manner such as: Volume Price Mix (VPM) for COGS and for utilities, Fayrouz Elimination report, Internal Control Process report, Working Capital report, OpEx and CapEx report, etc.
Education & Experiences Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, majoring in Finance or Accounting Qualifications & Other Requirements
Excellent command of English Language
Skills in Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint) and Power Bi is a plus
Profound experience, with advanced ERP systems, e.g. SAP
