Contracts Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Contracts Engineer to join our team in Mohandessin, Cairo. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts management within the real estate and construction sector. As a Contracts Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. You will also be involved in managing contract changes, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. This is a key role in our organization, and we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and evaluate contract terms and conditions to ensure they are in line with company policies and objectives.
2. Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
3. Administer contracts throughout their lifecycle, including contract initiation, execution, and closure.
4. Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met.
5. Identify and manage contract risks and propose mitigation strategies.
6. Resolve contract disputes and claims in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Ensure compliance with contract requirements and applicable laws and regulations.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contractual documentation and correspondence.
9. Prepare reports and presentations on contract management activities for management.
10. Stay current with industry best practices and changes in contract laws and regulations.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts management in the private sector.
3. Strong knowledge of contract law and regulations.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
5. Ability to analyze complex contractual issues and provide practical solutions.
6. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and prioritize tasks.
8. Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
