Job Description:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Export Specialist  to join our team. You will play a crucial role in managing the logistics and documentation involved in international trade. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong understanding of import - export procedures.


Role and Responsibilities


  • Sending the production orders with the production team after receiving sales orders 
  • Handling containers booking, Determine the ocean freight and follow-up to finalize the shipment process
  • Prepare customs documentation
  • Provide sales team with any requirement like Payload, Rates, ETC
  • Upload and submit all related data and documents on SAP “orders, forecast, statement of account, invoices, etc…”
  • Provide high level of customer service with customers
  • Receive, revise all invoices related to shipment to be submitted to finance 
  • Communicate with 3rd party for shipments COC certificates if required
  • Follow up with customers on Payment and OD amounts if any.
  • Follow with customs to collect FORM 13 which is Mandatory for VAT Claim or Government support
  • Prepare production follow-up reports 
  • Finalize with banks any required proofs or statements for any export payments if needed 
  • Follow-up the process status with all relevant stakeholders in order to avoid any delays  

Qualifications


  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing documentation.
  • Proficient in using import-export software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations, import-export laws, and international shipping procedures.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset to identify and resolve problems or inefficiencies in import-export operations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and experience with customs clearance procedures.
  • Familiarity with international trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Proficiency in using import-export software and tools, such as customs brokerage systems and trade compliance software.
  • Strong understanding of INCO terms, shipping terms, and international trade terms.
  • Fluency in English language, especially when working with international suppliers or customers.

Education / Certifications:
 


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, or Logistics.
  • Supply Chain certification or diploma is a plus (CPIM, CLTD, CSCP)
  • Preferable to have  FIATA certificate .

Job specific requirements:


  • 2-4 years of experience in logistics company / FMCG , preferably in edible oils and fats industry.
  •  Proven experience in import-export operations, logistics, or a relevant role.
