Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an Operations Officer for one of our partners, a multinational bank.
Job Summary:
- Assists in the entity's operational activities to ensure a proper workflow within the entity's operations.
- Updating information on relative systems and internal lists with the required data
- Responsible for validating the accuracy of the information on the assigned applications received via any other approved channel prior to taking action or implementing
- Review new customers and conduct sanity checks to ensure that accounts are opened correctly – close accounts if needed.
- Follow up with various operational units to ensure customer’s services are met.

Responsibilities:


  • Follow up and assist the entity with operational requirements, GL’s control, and backend system support that relates to operations activities.   
  • Attend daily enquires related to operational activities (Transfers, refunds, claims, and follow-ups).
  • Conduct sanity checks on newly opened accounts and ensure the proper suitable actions are undertaken and customer account closure
  • Participate in the IT system testing to ensure the fixing of all system defects and the implementation of system enhancements required for the entity's operations.
  • Execute / process instructions and applications as per the entity's policy, ensuring the provision of all required details, information, and documentation with the application / instruction.
  • Perform all tasks assigned by the operations Team leader / Manager within Service level Agreement (SLA) agreed with the business and ensure the completeness of all necessary actions related to this transaction, like following up on originals, archiving, filing, etc…
  • Answering the different inquiries from other staff or customers related to their requests, transactions or daily tasks and assuring serving external and internal customers within the quality standards of the entity.
  • Undertakes any additional functions that may be required to support the different areas in the entity in the form of projects or continuous new tasks and reply to different enquiries from other staff or customers related to their requests, transactions or daily tasks

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
  • 0 to 1 years of experience in the banking sector.
  • Computer skills and basic knowledge of CRM, MS Exchange, MS Office, PowerPoint and BancsLink
  • Basic knowledge of the entity's products, services, and procedures
  • Fluency in Arabic and English languages both spoken & written.
  • Ability to work under pressure with flexible working hours, working overtime when required
  • Precise and organized with a teamwork spirit.  
  • Accuracy and efficiency in processing tasks, execution, and being an affective and productive team member
  • Commitment to time lines upon the completion of the assigned tasks and related paper work and / or tracking system updates
