Summary:
As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications that align with business processes and meet specific application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the needs of the organization and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the applications support operational goals effectively, while continuously refining and enhancing the applications to adapt to evolving business demands.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Document application design and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Studio.
- Experience in designing and developing integrations using Workday Studio.
- Strong understanding of application configuration and customization within enterprise environments.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting complex application workflows.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices in application development.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Studio.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
