Associate Content Ingestion Analyst - Content Acquisition

We are seeking an Associate Content Ingestion Analyst to join our team in Chennai/Hyderabad. This is an amazing opportunity to work on content acquisition, transformation, and ingestion for Clarivate's Intellectual Property (IP) products. We have a great skill set in data analysis and would love to speak with you if you have experience in data acquisition and Patent search databases and a strong enthusiasm for Intellectual Property.

About You:

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in content acquisition or related field and proven track record in corporate set up.
• Proven experience in Patent search databases and content acquisition.
• Basic proficiency in MS-Office products; exposure to XML manipulation is a plus.

It would be great if you also had:

         Experience with content acquisition or other Patent databases.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Actively engage in data acquisition from USPTO, EPO DocBD, INPADOC Patent Data, and other Patent Office databases.
• Validate and benchmark the Intellectual Property Data with source to enhance accuracy.
• Facilitate the ingestion of patents data to the downstream teams and from external sources.
• Assist in resolving routine data entry or system problems and participate in auditing database integrity.
• Support the team to achieve content acquisition objectives.

About the Team:

     The Ingest and Sourcing Operations team specializes in content acquisition, transformation, and ingestion for Clarivate products. The team consists of over 40 experts dedicated to enhancing Patents content and reports to the Content Ingestion Manager. The team comprises content experts who assess new source content opportunities, create acquisition requirements, and provide value-added information for downstream curation experts.

Hours of Work: Full-time position

Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 6.00 PM IST (including 1 hour break)
