This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 300000 - Rs 900000 (ie INR 3 - 9 LPA) Min Experience: 3+ years Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India JobType: full-time We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python-based test automation.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
Build and maintain automation using Selenium and/or Playwright.
Develop scalable test automation using PyTest.
Perform functional, regression, integration and API testing.
Identify, document and track defects and work closely with developers for resolution.
Perform API testing using Postman/REST APIs.
Perform database validation using SQL.
Create reusable automation components using frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM).
Analyze test failures, debug automation scripts and improve test coverage.
Participate in requirement analysis and test-case design.
Contribute to CI/CD-based automated test execution.
Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Python Selenium and/or Playwright Strong knowledge of PyTest Automation framework development/maintenance Manual & Automation Testing API Testing SQL Git/GitHub Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Good to Have: Postman REST API testing Jenkins / CI-CD Page Object Model Agile/Scrum experience Must-have skills Python, Selenium, PyTest Good-to-have skills API Testing, REST API, Postman API
