Required Skills and Qualifications • Technical Expertise: o Proven experience with Python, Snowflake as a data platform, including architecture, implementation, and optimization. o Hands-on expertise with FiveTran for data integration and DBT for data transformation. o Strong understanding of modern data engineering principles, data warehousing, data visualization (Power BI) and ELT/ETL processes. • Domain Knowledge: o In-depth understanding of the biopharma industry, particularly the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics. • Leadership and Collaboration: o Demonstrated experience leading data teams and driving large-scale data initiatives. o Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: o Ability to analyze complex business problems and design data-driven solutions. o Proficiency in SQL and other data query languages. • Additional Qualifications: o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. o 12+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. o Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and other data tools is a plus.
