We are currently seeking a Consultant with expertise in delivering consulting project assignments, particularly in technical domains. As a Consultant, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, supporting, and implementing complex project modules. Your responsibilities will involve applying technical and functional skills to deliver successful solutions that optimize our clients' key business processes, ultimately reducing costs and inefficiencies. Reporting to the project manager, you will be an integral part of client teams, contributing senior-level expertise to meet project objectives.
Key to this role is your in-depth knowledge and experience with webMethods Integration and webMethods products. You should have a strong understanding of e-commerce and web integration principles, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), middleware, and other enterprise-level integration experiences. Additionally, familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), design patterns, and Business Process Management (BPM) is essential. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, guide them in technical aspects, and contribute to their professional growth.
Your role will involve extensive travel, up to 50% of the time, to client locations. Therefore, adaptability and a willingness to work in dynamic environments are critical.
**Essential Functions:**
- Apply technical and functional skills to implement successful solutions for clients.
- Utilize expertise in webMethods Integration and related products.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of complex project modules.
- Guide junior team members and assist in their professional development.
- Collaborate with client teams to meet project objectives.
**Skills:**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency/hands-on in SAG/webMethods tools and other relevant technologies.
- Ability to independently write, debug, and test code.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Set standards for quality in code, design, and architecture.
**Minimum Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s/B.Tech degree in Computer Science or a related field.
-Minimum 5-8 years of related work experience in webMethods is mandatory.
- Experience with Java/C++, XML, RDBMS, Unix/NT, EAI, middleware, or other integration technologies.
- Industry Fortune 500 experience is a plus.
**Nice to Haves:**
- Additional experience with Tibco, SeeBeyond, Vitria, or other similar products.
- Certifications in relevant technologies.
