Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Cost Control Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This key role involves leading cost control activities and ensuring that all projects align with the allocated budget. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, finance teams, and stakeholders to implement cost-effective measures, monitor project expenditures, and achieve financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project budgets, ensuring alignment with overall project scope and company objectives.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and forecasts based on project requirements, historical data, and market trends.
  • Track project expenditures and variances against the approved budget. Provide regular cost reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of cost variances to identify potential savings or risks. Recommend corrective actions to project teams as needed.
  • Produce periodic cost control reports, including forecasts, cash flow projections, and trend analyses.
  • Work with project managers, finance teams, and external stakeholders to maintain transparency and consistency in cost control measures.
  • Assess the financial impact of changes in project scope, schedules, and other factors. Update budgets and cost plans accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain effective cost control systems and procedures, ensuring accurate data management and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements across project operations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cost control, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
  • PMP or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management principles, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in cost control software (e.g., Oracle Primavera, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and numerical skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Team-oriented approach with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
