The Creation Platform mission is to enable innovation to accelerate, expand business value and increase process efficiency, by sharing capabilities transversally across Amadeus business versus purely ‘vertical ‘ product line approach.


Objective 

We are looking for talented Product Manager able to manage complexity of the ecosystem, navigate through multiple stakeholders, with deep interest in data & platform capabilities, and enthusiastic about the Amadeus growth strategy of opening up our systems.


Main responsibilities 

You will manage platform capabilities around data management at large



As a Platform Product Manager, you will be conducting:



· Requirement Analysis, Market analysis & IT /Technical watch



· Platform capabilities Strategy & Positioning, including Product Lifecycle Management and exposure internally, externally and towards Mergers & Acquisitions



· Support to delivery teams for Technical and Functional Solution Analysis



· Support to Execution (Prioritization, resource availability, budget




Common accountabilities:



The ideal profile :

• Has specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline or function. Provides expert guidance, promotes innovation and formally trains groups of less experienced professionals.



• Has a broad understanding of the environment and uses it to improve efficiency, recommends solutions/best practices and influence the strategy of the department. Translates the strategy of the activity into a concrete action plan for the area, setting and monitoring targets for the team.



• Works independently, based on management directions. May coordinate functional teams or projects and serves as a best practices/quality resource. 


Specific accountabilities:

• Articulate & Develop value propositions and key messages corresponding to problem statements, and articulate them into new product concepts or upgrades.
• Define the product strategy, vision & the business value in line with the business owners and other relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze solution offerings of competitors and define the strategic positioning of the product in alignment with Product Marketing Management.
• Manage 3rd party partnerships: requirement definition and prioritization, coordination of product evolution and other activities with the partner.
• Embark Amadeus teams on product vision, share product knowledge and ensure mutual understanding of the business.
• Drive co-innovation with customers to validate customer value drivers, define features of the products (MVP and beyond), and prioritize based on effort and expected business value.
• Define and manage product roadmap; socialize and align timelines with relevant stakeholders. Work closely with Product Marketing Management, Operations (Customer Service/Delivery/Go To Market) and R&D teams to define priorities and releasing plan for new products or upgrades.
• Coordinate different functional and technical streams with R&D teams to ensure end to end solution consistency.
• Manage the budget for area of responsibility including capacity planning with R&D.
• Participate in Agile events (Lean Portfolio Management, PI planning, System demos, Inspect and Adapt workshops…) when applicable / required.
• When applicable, fulfill Product Owner role or ART PM and work with R&D teams to maximize the agile teams outcome.
• Ensure solutions (to be) released meet theusersneeds and product readiness guidelines


Experience



  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business


  • Fluent inenglish


  • Led a software core product or component from the discovery to the shipping


  • Familiar with Cloud Concepts


  • Familiar with API design and Data Management / data governance / compliance processes and challenges


  • Experience working with agile teams
