Data Engineer SAP HANA (m|w|d)

We are looking for a Data Engineer SAP HANA and Snowflake (m/f/d) for our Information Technology division of Sartorius in India.

Your Responsibilities

• Experience of holistic consulting with a focus on SAP BW on HANA, BW/4HANA and S4 Hana ecosystem
• Planning, design and further development of productive SAP BW applications as well as the implementation of BI tools using SAP BW on cloud.
• Support of the existing SAP BW on HANA 7.5 system landscape
• Design and develop data models using SAP BW HANA.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the SAP BW HANA environment.
• Optimize data models and ETL processes for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand business requirements and ensure that the data architecture supports these requirements.
• Develop and maintain data flows, including data sourcing, data movement, data transformation, and data storage.
• Implement data security and governance policies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SAP BW HANA environments to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BW HANA features and best practices.

Your qualifications

• Degree in Business/Computer science or comparable qualification
• Experience of 7-10 years in SAP ecosystem in handling of the latest SAP BW on HANA solution.
• Experience in the development of SAP BW systems, data warehousing and/or data migration projects
• In-depth knowledge in the introduction and further development of business intelligence solutions based on SAP BW/4HANA, SAP on HANA and/or SAP BW
• Strong understanding of Datawarehousing concepts and Implementation
• Ideally, you have very good knowledge of data modeling, ABAP/OO and SQLScript
• Extensive know-how in SAP BW data modeling and LSA++ architecture and HANA Calculation Views
• Strong Programming skills in ABAP (OO) and SQL
• Experience in integrating SAP HANA architecture with SAP frontend (Analysis for Office) and BI tools desirable
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced data modeling techniques, such as LSA++.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such a Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as Azure, Snowflake Data cloud etc.
