As a Data Science Practitioner, a typical day involves formulating, designing, and delivering artificial intelligence and machine learning based decision-making frameworks and models aimed at driving meaningful business outcomes. The role requires continuous evaluation and measurement of the value generated by these solutions, ensuring they align with organizational goals. This position demands a thoughtful approach to problem-solving and innovation, with a focus on creating impactful models that support strategic decision-making across various business functions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance business processes.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment and integration of data science initiatives.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed models to maintain accuracy and relevance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Science.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Experience in designing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms.
- Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in data science such as Python or R.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and their application in predictive modeling.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
