Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Support the deployment of the x-domain Data Governance strategy and the delivery of the x-domain Data Governance roadmap by owning and leading some related activities and projects
• Administration, Housekeeping and Continues Improvement for the x-domain Data Governance- and Metadata Management technologies, including integrations
• Constantly driving adoption of the x-domain Data Governance- and Metadata Management technologies and upskill users through introductions / demos, trainings, user manuals and Ask the Expert consultancy
• Onboarding of new users and teams to our Metadata Management Platform and support with metadata imports via integrations, MS Excel, &/or across platform instances
• Analysing the Metadata quality and drive its improvement
• Scout and analyse internal & external best-practices or industry standards on Metadata Management and deploy internally if appropriate
• Own the SCRUM management with the group of developers for Data Governance- and Metadata Management technologies.

Context and Scope :

• The job is global and cross-segment
• The Data Enablement Analyst will be a member of the MGS Master Data Management Team and reports into the Data Governance Lead
• The Data Enablement Analyst will lead (without Line Management authority) a team of contracted offshore developers to ensure the stability and fit-for-purpose of the x-domain Data Governance- and Metadata Management technologies
• The Data Enablement Analyst will be a permanent member of the x-domain Data Governance meetings
• The key stakeholders are the Data Domain Stewards, Regional Data Stewards, Technical Stewards, Template Owners, Project Managers, Data Governance Managers and IT Managers

Education & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or similar
• Fluent in English, spoken and written. Other languages are of benefit

Knowledge/Experience

• Has experience in working in (Master) Data Management &/or Data Quality initiatives
• experienced in working in a complex, multi-national corporate environment
• ability to collaborate with multiple, diverse teams including peer-level and peer-level+1&2 associates
• Has experience in working in a governance- &/or system administration type of role
• skilled in documenting user instructions and training material
• practical knowledge of Customer-, Finance-, HR-, Material-, R&D-, Supply-, &/or Vendor data domains is of benefit
• skilled in communication and facilitation
• skilled in agile delivery, design-thinking and other methods to collect, prioritize and manage requirements and development efforts efficiently
• experienced in Data Governance- & Metadata Management including the tools to support these disciplines
• Advanced Platform Administration experience with the Collibra platform. The Collibra Data Steward, - Data Governance Lead, Collibra Solution Architect, &/or - Ranger certification is a strong benefit
