Objective:DesignEngineer,shallbe capable of reviewing & executing Engineering Activities for complete design of Transmission Lines Towers, Civil Foundations & Associated Structures. 

DesignEngineershall work with a team of Draughts persons, PEMs to carry out activities as per the Engineering Plan aligned with the project and deliver on schedule and budget

• Shall be responsible for collectingall inputs to carryout the designactivities that areunder his area of work.
• Must be capable of readingthe technical specification and able to identifythedifferentclauses related to Tower Designand Foundation Design.
• Review and ensureoptimum design before submission to client.
• Ensure quantitycontrol&optimization of civil &structural quantities
• Interact with project execution team / vendors forresolvingthe problem.
• Witness Tower Testing at Different testBeds
• PrepareBOQ and designdocuments which are required at pre-Tender stage.
• Post award ofJob Submission andgetapproval for all designrelated documents fromClient.
• Maintain all the EngineeringDocuments as perISO norms set bythemanagement.

• TechnicalExpertiseinactivitiesofRouteSelection,Profiles,Sag,TensionCharts,designofTransmissionLinetowers,foundations (isolated, pile and combined raft) ,gantrystructures.
• DesignEngineershallbeabletoreview,designthedetaileddrawingsforTLtowers.
• Shallbeabletodesignalltypesoffoundations(pad&Chimney/IsolatedFoundation,CombinedFoundation,pilefoundationsetc).
• Shouldbeaware ofdesigncalculationsaspercodesofdomestic& internationalcodes.
• ShouldhaveknowledgeonselectingtheTestLoadcasesforTowers. 
• AbletoprepareStringingChartforsite.
• ConversantwithIndianStandardsandinternationalstandardslikeBS,UBC,ACI,ASCErelatedforTLandFoundation design.
• Shall be able to conduct review of vendor drawings for bought out items
