Project description The high-volume operational engineer. Owns day-to-day administration of the two busiest applications — a Git hosting/SCM platform and a DevOps/pipeline platform — which together make up the bulk of ticket volume, plus all IDE/endpoint support. Responsibilities Administer a Git hosting / SCM platform (GitHub Enterprise): org/repo management, CI workflows (GitHub Actions), access governance, and SaaS configuration. Administer a DevOps platform (Azure DevOps): repos, pipelines (YAML), and boards. Handle the high-volume L1/L2 queue (access requests, configuration, troubleshooting) and lighter L3 fixes; escalate complex platform issues to the Platform Engineer. Provide IDE support (Visual Studio & VS Code): licensing, extensions, and desktop/VDI configuration. Support developer-portal ↔ GitHub/Azure DevOps integrations under the Platform Engineer's lead. Keep tickets within SLA and maintain support documentation.
