About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Digital Architect to lead end-to-end architecture across digital platforms, customer channels, and integration-heavy technology domains. The role requires an individual who can operate at an enterprise level, rapidly understand evolving business and technology landscapes, define architectural direction, and guide multiple delivery teams and vendors. The individual will establish architecture principles, ensure consistency across systems, enable AI adoption, and strengthen internal ownership of digital architecture while delivering scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
What you will do
- Provide architectural governance across multiple digital products, platforms, and customer-facing channels.
- Define and maintain architecture principles, standards, patterns, and delivery guardrails.
- Ensure alignment of architecture decisions with business strategy, technology roadmap, and security requirements.
- Review and approve solution designs, integration approaches, and technology selections.
- Take ownership of architecture across the full digital technology stack, including web, mobile, microservices, APIs, BSS/OSS systems, payment integrations, identity and access management, and network integrations.
- Drive the evolution of web architecture including microfrontends, server-side rendering, design systems, reuse strategies, and CMS.
- Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, resilience, security, and operational supportability.
- Lead the transition from vendor-led to organisation-led architectural ownership.
- Drive AI adoption across engineering processes and digital capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI for productivity, automation, quality enhancement, and improved customer experience.
- Guide teams on responsible and practical AI usage across delivery lifecycles.
Who you are
- Extensive experience (18+ years overall, including 10+ years in architectural roles such as Enterprise Architect, Principal Architect, or similar).
- Strong full-stack architecture experience covering microfrontends (e.g., React, Next.js), mobile platforms (e.g., React Native), microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proven expertise in telecom or digital service platforms including BSS/OSS, identity, payments, fulfilment, and network integrations.
- Experience designing for consumer, business, and partner channels.
- Strong understanding of API-first design, event-driven architecture, integration patterns, and cloud-native systems.
- Knowledge of security, privacy, scalability, performance, resilience, and observability practices.
- Ability to govern enterprise architecture, manage risks in complex vendor environments, and balance strategic direction with delivery execution.
- Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, including business leaders, product teams, engineers, and external partners.
