Mandatory skills:

• Good Understanding of AOSP architecture and concepts.
• Good knowledge of Android application Framework, Boot and Memory optimizations.
• Experience on Android debug tool usage (Perfetto, profiler etc)
• Preferably with Automotive Android experience
• Multithreaded application development experience
• Experience in multi process and multiprocessor communication framework in Android
• Experience in C++, Android SDK, JNI, JAVA, JSON, Sqlite APIs.
• Need to have good knowledge of Android Core Components and IPC(AIDL) mechanism like Binders.
• Experience with Android HAL and HIDL –
• Understanding of some native services like Audio, Graphics, Camera, Sensors, Automotive etc.
• Knowledge in Android run time, Native libraries.
• AOSP – build and adaptation

Preferred skills:

• Basic understanding of Linux kernel architecture and device drivers / BSP
• Experience with Android GAS
• Android automotive
• JAVA and Kotlin

Key responsibilities include:

• Requirements analysis and clarification
• Prepare concepts & design for Android Service and HMI framework / managers extension.
• Create custom service and managers.
• Technical clarifications with Architect and guide team to implement the design
• Ensuring quality of deliverables
• Risk identification and escalation to Project Manager
• Developing or modifications of Android framework and native layers components.
• Close operations with project managers
• Resolving Complex design and coding issues.
