Keeping the Property Safe - Fire & Emergency:

• Checkfire pump roomsevery day to make sure everything's working
• Monitorsmoke ventilationandpressurization systems
• Maintainfire safety equipment
• Inspecthydrantandsprinkler valvesregularly

Day-to-Day Safety Management:

• Runevacuation drillsso everyone knows what to do in emergencies
• Handlehot work permitswhen contractors need to do welding or similar work
• Check that people are using propersafety gear (PPE)
• Investigate incidentsthat happen and figure out what went wrong

Standards & Compliance:

• Keep ourISO certificationscurrent (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety)
• Make sure we're following allEHS policies
• Dorisk assessmentsto spot potential problems
• Stay on top ofgovernment regulations
• Manage ourBritish Safety Council Five Star Audit

Everyday Operations:

• Managetraffic flowon the property
• Trainsecurity guardson safety procedures
• Make suresafety signsare where they need to be
• Keep all thepaperwork and recordsup to date
• Check thatemergency equipmentis ready to go

Training & Communication:

• Teachemployeesabout safety
• Briefcontractorsbefore they start work
• Plansafety awareness campaigns
• Work with different teams to keep everyone informed

Education:A degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, EHS, or Safety

Experience:At least 8 yearsworking in facilities, property management, hospitality, or construction

Skills You Should Have:

• Know your way aroundproperty management
• Can solveEHS problemsas they come up
• Good atexplaining things, both talking and writing
• Handleconflictswhen they arise
• Care about giving peoplegood service
• Comfortabletraining staff

Fire Safety:Fire pump rooms, hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, smoke ventilation, pressurization

Safety Operations:Evacuation drills, hot work permits, PPE inspections, incident investigation

Compliance Systems:ISO 9001/14001/45001, IMS, British Safety Council, risk assessments, regulatory compliance

Daily Operations:Traffic management, guard training, safety signage, documentation, emergency readiness

Stakeholder Management:Employee training, contractor briefings, safety campaigns, team coordination
