The mission of the DBA Lead, Oracle Applications is to support the architecting, provisioning, configuring, scaling, and bench marking multiple clusters and environments of Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS). You should be Oracle database Performance tuning expert. You will plan, coordinate, develop, implement and support database solutions, including database definition, structure, replication strategies, documentation, requirements, guidelines and security. You will troubleshoot technical issues related to Oracle database, applications and assist with the oversight and guidance of junior to mid-level DBA’s. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership to fellow Application DBA’s (external and Internal) and create/enforce EBS standards

What you will do:
- Perform advanced database tuning and performance monitoring including indexing, reorganizations and partitioning.
- Perform advanced database troubleshooting as needed.
- Design, implement and enforce user access security models.
- Creation, enforcement and review of database standards to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security and performance
- Act as database technical lead, guiding and mentoring Junior and Mid-Level DBA’s (Oracle Applications DBA).
- Working knowledge of SOX controls, ability to understand and automate data collection for SOX controls.
- Troubleshoot poor performing advanced database packages, procedures, functions and triggers as required and able to suggest performance improvements
- Create, implement and maintain both logical and physical database design.
What you will need:
- Advanced understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools, physical database design
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle database tuning and performance monitoring, Oracle security management, Oracle data integrity, Oracle RAC and Data Guard
- Advanced knowledge of GoldenGate replication
- Solid experience using SQL, SQL Plus and PL/SQL
- Good understanding of the Unix operating system
- Proven leadership skills, problem-solving ability and ability to work with multiple deadlines
- At least 10 years of professional experience in IT with at least 6 years of experience on Oracle DB 11g or 12c, with certification
- At least 8 years of experience as hands on Application DBA on Oracle eBusiness Suite, with 11i or R12 version, with Finance, Operation or SCM modules
- At least 8 years of experience in ERP Production support, should be able to lead the support project along with 1-2 team members , Should be able to take informed decision and run the system independently
- Experience in Production mode administration like System administration
- Experience of an EBS implementation and implementation with AIX is a plus
- Strong Troubleshooting skills and must have very good conceptual knowledge of Oracle Database
- Exposure to SOX and FDA audit and compliance procedures
- Exposure to international / medical companies
