Job Code: Engineer - Powerplant Performance

Job Description:

Join the Powerplant Performance team in the Airbus Design Office in Bangalore (Propulsion Performance and Thermal Management domain - 1PGP) to drive innovation and shape the future of Airbus aircraft propulsion.

Key Activities:

• Develop, validate, and integrate engine performance models with airframe systems.

  
  
  

• Conduct comprehensive performance analysis and sizing of propulsion systems across all flight phases.

  
  
  

• Analyze key gas turbine parameters (thrust, fuel consumption) and troubleshoot engine data.

  
  
  

• Ensure engine compliance with performance and certification requirements, including support for flight test data analysis.

  
  
  

Education & Experience

• Masters degree in Aeronautical engineering or related disciplines

  
  
  

• Experience with data analysis and gas turbine modelling would be a plus 

  
  
  

Required Technical Expertise:

• Gas Turbine Engine Performance and Cycles

  
  
  

• Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics

  
  
  

• Programming skills in MATLAB, Python

  
  
  

Soft Skills
