Position Overview

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with a strong foundation in Java and distributed systems to join our team. In this role, you will design, build, and operate scalable backend services using Spring Boot and modern cloud-native technologies.

You will work closely with product, architecture, and platform teams to deliver reliable, high-performance systems and take ownership of services in production.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintainscalable backend services usingJava and Spring Boot

  
  

• Contribute tosystem design discussionsand translate requirements intoworking solutions

  
  

• Buildreliable and resilient systemswith a focus onperformance, scalability, and fault tolerance

  
  

• Writeclean, maintainable, and well-tested codeadhering to engineering best practices

  
  

• Troubleshoot production issues, identifyroot causes, and implement fixes with minimal impact

  
  

• Collaborate cross-functionallywith product, design, and platform teams to deliver featuresend-to-end

  
  

• Participate incode reviewsand contribute to improvingengineering standards

  
  

• Work withDevOps teamsto supportCI/CD pipelinesandcloud deployments (Kubernetes)

  
  

• Contribute totechnical documentation,design decisions, andoperational runbooks

  
  

• Actively participate inAgile ceremoniesand deliver high-quality work within sprint timelines

  
  

• Takeownership of services in production, ensuringreliability, latency, and SLA adherence

  
  

AboutYou:

• Bachelor’s degreein Computer Science or equivalentpractical experience

  
  

• ~3+ yearsof professional software development experience

  
  

• Strong proficiency in Javaand good working knowledge ofSpring Boot

  
  

• Experience buildingRESTful APIsandbackend services

  
  

• Familiarity withmicroservices architectureanddistributed systems fundamentals

  
  

• Hands-on experience withmessaging systems(e.g.,Kafka, RabbitMQ)

  
  

• Working knowledge ofrelational databases(MySQL/Postgres) and basicNoSQL systems(Redis, MongoDB)

  
  

• Exposure tocloud-native environments(Docker, Kubernetes)

  
  

• Familiarity withengineering practices: Git,CI/CD, andautomated testing

  
  

• Strongproblem-solving skillsand ability to work in acollaborative environment

  
  

• Experienceowning features or servicesfrom development throughproduction deployment
