Job Description
Responsible as Technical Project manager for the Design & development of hardware (Electronics) projects.
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute project for hardware development, in alignment with organizational goals.
Manage dependencies with cross-functional teams, like Mechanical , Software , Plants & other relevant stakeholders.
Foster collaboration and communication with all stakeholders to ensure a smooth workflow.
Monitor & Control Quality, Cost & Delivery of the projects.
Allocate and optimize resources to meet project objectives efficiently.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with hardware projects.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including executives, team members, and external partners.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and oversee quality assurance processes /quality gates to ensure that hardware products meet specified standards and requirements.
Requirement:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in project management of a complex project/multi- disciplinary project/ product development projects
- Experience managing projects involving Hardware , IoT ,Product-Centric Development
- Technical experience on Hardware concepts & design Experience in systems / requirements engineering
- Experience in high speed design for microprocessor & microcontroller boards with associated peripheral circuits.
- Experience in analog and digital circuit design, board level power supply design (Buck, Boost, LDO, Linear) along with experience in communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet.
- Experience in actuator and motor control circuit design (BDC, BLDC, stepper).
- Experience with CAD packages (Altium/ORCAD/Mentor Graphics) for schematic capture and PCB layout design.
- Knowledge of components selections/design, BOM preparation, thermal calculations, and spice simulations.
- Experience in EMI/EMC compliant design & experience in preparing layout guidelines and review.
- Good understanding of Engineering processes & experience in preparing documents like HDD, test plan, test report etc.
- Experience in using equipment’s DSO, signal generator, thermal imager, data logger to debug and troubleshoot the electronic circuits
- Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss issues / solutions with team and external customer.
- Flexible, willing to travel and participate for customer, vendor interactions
- Ability to structure, moderate and promote collaboration with international teams, negotiate with customer, support global organization.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment, innovative thinking.
- Ability to work independently in an organized and structured fashion with strong analytical skills that supports a systematic approach to problem resolution and strong communication skills to discuss issues/challenges with global development teams and external customers.
- Certification in Project management PMQ / PMP is preferred
