Java Developer (Application Development & Support) - Senior Associate

Must-Have Skills

• ORMB Expertise: Technical experience in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) modules, including Customer Setup, Billing, Pricing, Billing Payments & Collections, and General Ledger.
• Technical Architecture & Frameworks: Strong understanding of ORMB technical architecture, framework methods, and the underlying infrastructure including Web Application Server, Business Application Server, and Database Server.
• Real-Time & Batch Program Design: Experience in designing and supporting real-time and batch programs to meet business requirements.
• Deployment & Integration Expertise: In-depth knowledge of deployment models (On-Prem, SaaS) and integration strategies with third-party applications.
• OUAF & Integration Technologies: Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and integrating technologies such as Java, REST, XML/JSON, Oracle Database, Groovy, and plugin-driven batches.
• Database Proficiency: Ability to write complex SQL queries & PL/SQL within the ORMB data model to retrieve, manipulate, and manage data efficiently.
• Performance Tuning: Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues within the ORMB system, focusing on aspects like SQL query optimization, database configuration, and end-to-end system performance. Experience using tools for monitoring system performance, such as AWR reports and other monitoring tools.
• ORMB Configurations & Enhancements: Strong expertise in ORMB configuration, extension, enhancement, and reporting capabilities, including customizations as per project needs.
• Table Structure & Interface Development: Solid understanding of ORMB table structure with practical experience in interface building and data migration.
• Configuration Design & Documentation: Experience in preparing configuration design documents and developing ORMB configurations, including Service Scripts, Plug-in Scripts, BPA Scripts, UI Maps, Zones, and Portals.
• Testing & Validation: Proven experience working with QA teams to develop test scripts and execute end-to-end testing of customizations and enhancements.
• Production Support: Experience in providing ongoing functional and technical production support during and after the go-live phase.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Advanced Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
• System Monitoring: Ability to monitor and support job streams during critical billing and general ledger activities to ensure smooth operation.
• Build & Deployment: Proficient in creating build instructions and collaborating with the configuration management team to deploy solutions in an On-Demand environment.
• Post-Deployment Support: Experience performing smoke testing after deployments and identifying any issues or inconsistencies in production environments.
• Analytics & Reports: Good to have working experience in BI publisher and Oracle Analytics.
