Job Title: Lab Technician
Experience: 3+ Years
Salary: ₹3,50,000 - ₹4,00,000 per year
Shift Timings:Morning Shift: 06:00 - 02:30 / Evening Shift: 12:30 - 09:00

Qualifications:

DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology)
DN (Diploma in Nursing)
DNA (Diploma in Nursing Assistant)
ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife)
B.Sc. MLT (Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology)
BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy)
Physician Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, label, and process biological samples accurately and efficiently.
Perform routine and specialized tests on blood, urine, and other samples.
Conduct various laboratory tests, analyses, and examinations to diagnose and monitor diseases.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and proper functioning.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities and test results.
Prepare and deliver timely reports to physicians and healthcare providers.
Ensure all tests and procedures adhere to established quality control and safety standards.
Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
Provide support and assistance to patients during sample collection.
Work closely with medical staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Assist in training and supervising junior lab technicians and trainees.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and procedures.
Proficient in handling laboratory software and data management systems.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in performing tests and recording data.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards in all laboratory practices.
