Role: Marketing Attribution Analyst (Data scientist)
Description Role Overview
The Marketing Attribution & Revenue Analyst is a highly analytical, data science-focused role responsible for connecting marketing efforts to measurable business outcomes such as pipeline, revenue, and deal influence. This role goes beyond reporting to develop advanced attribution models, predictive insights, and revenue analytics frameworks, bridging marketing and sales. You will integrate data from CRM, marketing automation systems, and data warehouses to deliver executive-level insights on marketing’s impact.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain multi-touch attribution models (rule-based and algorithmic)
Develop advanced data science models to measure marketing’s impact on: Pipeline creation, Revenue contribution, Deal velocity and conversion rates
Integrate and unify data from multiple sources: CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.), Marketing automation platforms, Product/usage data, Data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify drivers of marketing effectiveness & develop market mix models
Build predictive models (e.g., lead scoring, conversion propensity, customer lifetime value)
Deliver executive-level reporting and narratives linking marketing activities to revenue outcomes
Evaluate and improve incrementality measurement approaches
Lead experimentation and causal inference efforts (e.g., uplift modeling, MMM, A/B testing)
Key Skills
Strong proficiency in Python & SQL for data analysis, modeling, and automation
Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques: Regression models, Classification models, Time-series analysis, Attribution modeling (Shapley etc.)
Expertise in data wrangling and feature engineering
Strong knowledge of marketing funnel metrics and revenue operations
Ability to translate complex models into business insights and executive storytelling
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science
Proven experience building attribution models and revenue measurement frameworks
Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing data ecosystems
