Your Impact

We're hiring a Lead Software Engineer to own the technical direction of core platform. You will set architectural standards, drive cross-cutting initiatives across our C# and .NET Core backend services, mentor a team of engineers, and partner with product, SRE, and security to deliver a reliable, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS. This is a hands-on lead role — expect to spend a significant portion of your time in code, design reviews, and production debugging.

What the role offers

• Own the end-to-end architecture of the platform: Microservices development using C#, .Net core and data stores (DynamoDB, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Postgres, Redis).
• Define and enforce engineering standards: code review, testing, observability, security, and release practices.
• Design for scale: throughput, low latency, indexing strategy, retention/lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers through design docs, pairing, and code review; grow the team's depth in distributed systems and security engineering.
• Partner with SRE on capacity, incident response, and SLOs; partner with Security on threat modeling and secure-by-default defaults.
• Collaborate with product to break down roadmap themes into shippable increments and unblock delivery.

What you need to succeed

• Languages & Frameworks: C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API’s & Distributed systems
• Data: DynamoDB, Posgtres, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch & SQL Server.
• Messaging & Streaming: Apache Kafka, EventBridge.
• Observability & Detection: ELK / Filebeat / Logstash / Kibana.
• 7-11 years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a tech lead role.
• Strong production experience in C# and the modern .NET Core ecosystem (asynchronous programming, dependency injection, memory management/performance tuning).
• Deep experience designing and operating multi-tenant SaaS with strict data isolation.
• Solid grasp of containerized deployment (Docker, Compose, or Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical security engineering: TLS/mTLS, PKI, secrets handling, OWASP Top 10, least-privilege design.
• Proven track record mentoring engineers and leading cross-team technical initiatives.

One last thing

• Cybersecurity domain or working experience in data security.
• AWS cloud services experience.
• Proficient in leveraging AI-assisted development tools, building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, and working with Vector Databases to enhance software engineering workflows and intelligent application capabilities.

• You write docs before large changes and welcome critique.
• You read code before changing it; you prefer small, reversible steps.
• You treat observability, tests, and runbooks as part of "done."
• You bias to mentorship over heroics — your team's velocity matters more than your individual output.
• You communicate clearly with non-engineers (product, support, partners).
