Job DescriptionOverviewEngineering Automation & Platform IntegrationsRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer with strong exposure to work-related automations, engineering platform workflows, CAD/BIM processes, and digital delivery solutions.
The ideal candidate should have around 8–12 years of overall experience, preferably with hands-on involvement in automation initiatives, requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, solution definition, and delivery support for engineering technology platforms.
This role requires someone who can work closely with business users, engineering teams, BIM/CAD teams, and software developers to identify automation opportunities, define clear requirements, support solution design, and ensure successful delivery of digital tools and integrations.
Your roleKey Responsibilities
- Engage with business and engineering stakeholders to understand requirements
- Identify automation and workflow improvement opportunities
- Gather and document detailed business requirements
- Convert requirements into functional specifications
- Collaborate with technical teams for solution design and delivery
- Support development of Software tools, Plugins, Integrations, Automation solutions
- Coordinate across business, engineering, and development teams
- Participate in UAT activities: Test planning, Test case preparation, Defect tracking, Validation
- Manage stakeholder expectations and priorities
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
About youMandatory Skills and Experience
- Strong experience as Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Product Analyst
- Experience in Digital transformation or automation projects, Engineering, BIM, CAD, construction, or infrastructure domains
- Good understanding of Engineering project workflows, Data and document management processes
- Ability to Capture business requirements, Convert them into functional specifications
- Experience working with technical teams delivering: Software tools Plugins, Integrations, Automation solutions
- Familiarity with platforms such as: Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, MicroStation, Smart 3D, Aconex
- Strong skills in: Stakeholder management, Communication, Documentation, Coordination
- Experience in UAT planning, Test case preparation, Defect tracking, Solution validation
- Ability to: Independently own business analysis activities, Manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
Technical Awareness Required
(Not mandatory hands-on development, but working knowledge required)
- Awareness of C# / .NET application or plugin development, Python automation or scripting
- Understanding of APIs, SDKs, and system integrations
- Basic knowledge of Databases (SQL / SQLite)
- Familiarity with Data exchange between engineering platforms, Common Data Environments (CDE)
- Knowledge of CAD/BIM models, drawings, documents, and metadata workflows
