Summary:
As a Large Language Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better suit specific domains and instructions. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving model architectures and datasets to improve the model's contextual understanding and output quality. The workday includes iterative testing, evaluation, and adjustment of models to ensure they meet the desired performance standards and relevance for targeted applications. Collaboration with various teams to align model capabilities with project goals is also a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of fine-tuning strategies to optimize model performance.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support in technical challenges.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate model improvements into production environments.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Generative AI.
- Experience in fine-tuning large language models with a focus on instruction tuning and domain adaptation.
- Strong understanding of natural language processing techniques and transformer-based architectures.
- Ability to work with large datasets and implement data preprocessing methods to enhance model training.
- Familiarity with evaluation metrics and methodologies to assess model performance and relevance.
- Capability to troubleshoot and optimize model training pipelines for efficiency and scalability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Generative AI.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
