Job Description

The Inbound growth team plays a pivotal role in driving predictable inbound led revenue at Freshworks. The growth of Freshworks as a company rests on the ability of this team to create interest in our products among potential customers. Given the competitive environment that exists in the SaaS domain, digital demand generation provides us the ability to influence the top of the funnel in the acquisition journey.


As the Manager of Digital Marketing, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, spearheading SEO initiatives to fuel our ambitious revenue targets.  Your role will encompass owning revenue for your product/geo, orchestrating content strategy and extensive competitor gap analysis, collaborating closely with other marketing teams, collaborating with sales , and partnering with product marketers to drive product-led growth. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our annual plans, leveraging data-driven insights to refine our strategies, and staying ahead of the competition through robust market research.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Content Creation - Strategic planning of content initiatives


  • Plan and strategize for content strategy to drive traction, setting targets for traffic and leads and devising strategies to achieve them.


  • Devise holistic content strategy - SEO pages, blogs, video and image strategy


  • Conduct in-depth data analysis from web traffic to revenue generation, deriving actionable insights.


  • Content Promotion - Strategic planning of outreach initiatives and coordinating with external partners


  • Project Management - Anticipating planning of dependencies for project execution


  • Reporting & Data - Storytelling with data, forecasting of scenarios


  • Business Management - Operational management of teams and products, scaling results through other people's work. Deep understanding of market environment


  •   Research -  Perform and measure SEO tests (quantitative, qualitative)
  • Technical - Evaluation of tech concepts and solutions (loading times, markup, etc...)


  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on complex projects with a strong focus on user centricity


  • Efficiently manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, fostering effective teamwork and communication.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Literature.


  • 10-12 years of hands-on experience in Search engine optimization within the B2B/B2C sector.


  • Profound expertise in SEO ( Content in all forms - page, video, pSEO)


  • Demonstrated ability to execute marketing campaigns at scale across various platforms and geographies.


  • Deep understanding of crafting and executing comprehensive content strategies to drive revenue growth.


  • Comfortable with driving analytics & measurement for content led campaigns


  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.


  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.


  • Ability to take accountability for outcomes rather than manage inputs


  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, weighing the cost-benefit of actions. Great managerial abilities.


  • Tenacity to tackle complex challenges and drive solutions.


  • Active listener with excellent communication skills, able to convey complex information effectively.


  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude towards identifying new initiatives and embracing calculated risks.


  • Prior experience in B2B or SaaS marketing is essential, tech marketing experience is a plus.
