Role Brief:

Performs structural analysis of direct drive generator components for their structural integrity, and proposes a design solution based on FEA simulations.

Qualifications and person specification

Job Description: As a measurement Analyst, in this role, you will:

• Performs data Measurement analysis of direct drive generator components.
• Perform sensor data analysis and comparision with FEA simulations.
• Develop V&V plans for generator performance tests, Carry out experimental validation of generator components through Generator Performance Test, Prototype, and windfarm test data (structural, vibration testing, and measurements), and also validate with FEA simulation.
• Develop methods and approach to analyze simulation and test data using advanced signal processing techniques (MATLAB/ Python).
• Contributes to the development of scripts, methodologies and tools.

What do you need to qualify for this job?

• Graduate / Post Graduate in Mechanical / Structural / Aerospace engineering (~Total experience: 6-10 years).
• Minimum 4 years experience in measurement data analysis and structural simulation of large and complex mechanical systems (e.g. Turbo machinery or Heavy Machinery) using Ansys Workbench/APDL. 
• Intermediate-level expertise in MATLAB/Python.
• Experience in structural analysis of mechanical components is plus.
• Knowledge of vibration tests, procedures, and test instrumentation.
• Knowledge of measurement methods related to inspections, condition assessment, vibration analysis.
