What you will be doing -
- Following best practices / methodologies thorough understanding of the technology roadmap, advancement to design/development process and providing innovative solutions
- Plays a key role in resolving technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies.
- Works with Tech Leads to ensure that assigned work is completed efficiently, meets business requirements, stays within scope, and is delivered on time
- Responsible for writing technical documents.
- Continually improve quality of development team deliverable
- Ensures code reviews, unit testing and integration testing is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Participate in production deployment of the application components that needs to be implemented.
- Assisting in the identification, isolation, resolution and communication of problems within the production environment
What you bring -
- Experience in Web and Mobile automation with Appium/Selenium.
- Experience in API testing using SoapUI, Postman, Rest Assured.
- Experience in creating and executing test scripts, including integration, system and regression testing.
- Knowledge of Mobile and Banking Domain.
- Proficient in requirement and use case review to thrash out gaps, defects and provide timely and meaningful
- Proficient in Test case creation and review. Familiar with various types of test cases created for testing.
- Develops, maintains and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
Performs testing for total system usability, performance, reliability, scalability and security. - Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
Controls and manages own daily test activities. - Provides internal quality assurance.
- Supports test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.
- Organizes and maintains the test script library.
Skills –
Automation Engineer skills :
- Web and Mobile automation with Appium/Selenium.
- Working knowledge of Cucumber , TestNG framework.
- Good knowledge of developing automation framework.
- Good knowledge of Java.
- Good knowledge of Database SQL and Oracle.
- API testing using SoapUI/Postman/Rest Assured.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD.
Manual QA skills:
- Web/Mobile Manual Testing.
- Knowledge of Mobile and Banking Domain.
- Functional, UI, Integration, system and regression testing.
- Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC and testing methodologies.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Test and Defect management tool.
Qualifications -
- A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
- Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
- Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
- Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
