Job Title: NDT Technician

Location: Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Job Type: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule: Rotational shift

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform various non-destructive testing methods, including but not limited to, ultrasonic testing (UT), radiography testing (RT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and dye penetrate testing (PT).
  
• Evaluate the integrity and properties of materials and components to detect imperfections such as cracks, voids, and inclusions.
  
• Prepare and maintain detailed test reports and documentation in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  
• Interpret and analyze NDT results, providing accurate and clear feedback to engineers and production teams.
  
• Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment always.
  
• Assist in the development and improvement of NDT procedures and techniques.
  
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding test results and findings.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field (required).
  
• Certification in NDT methods such as ASNT Level I or II, or equivalent (preferred).
  
• Strong understanding of NDT techniques and principles.
  
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to non-destructive testing.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
