As a .NET + DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and deployment of our software applications while ensuring smooth and efficient DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in .NET development and a passion for automating and optimizing deployment pipelines. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements, design specifications, and user stories.
Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications, utilizing best practices and coding standards.
Implement DevOps practices to automate deployment pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Work closely with IT operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of deployed applications.
Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and system health, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
Automate and manage infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement containerization and orchestration strategies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Implement and manage cloud services on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Conduct regular code reviews and ensure that coding standards and best practices are followed.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in .NET development and DevOps practices.
Provide technical support to development teams and assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to DevOps practices and deployments.
Assist in mentoring and coaching junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience in .NET development and DevOps practices.
Proficiency in .NET framework and related technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, etc.).
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (MSBuild, Maven, Gradle), and release management.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Working knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Understanding of agile development methodologies.
Relevant certifications in .NET development or DevOps practices are advantageous.
