Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Specialist in SAP Application Security, you will be responsible for maintaining SAP application security solutions for clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with clients to understand their security requirements and translate them into functional solutions using SAP security tools.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Design and Implement SAP Security Policies: Design and implement SAP security policies and procedures to meet client requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.

* Configure and Customize SAP Security: Configure and customize SAP security settings to meet client requirements, implementing role-based access control and segregation of duties in SAP systems.

* Conduct Security Audits and Risk Assessments: Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

* Collaborate with Clients: Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and translate them into functional solutions using SAP security tools.

* Develop and Maintain Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base, staying up-to-date with new features and releases of SAP security modules.

* Experience with SAP Security Configuration: Experience with configuring and customizing SAP security settings, including role-based access control and segregation of duties in SAP systems.

* SAP Security Policy Development: Experience in designing and implementing SAP security policies and procedures to meet client requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

* Security Audit and Risk Assessment: Experience conducting security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation in SAP systems.

* Client Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: Experience working with clients to understand their security requirements and translating them into functional solutions using SAP security tools.

* Technical Documentation and Knowledge Management: Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base for SAP security solutions.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* SAP HANA Security Features: Experience with the latest SAP HANA security features, trends, and best practices is beneficial for this role.

* Industry Standards Compliance: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR is advantageous for ensuring compliance in SAP security solutions.

* SAP Security Module Releases: Staying up-to-date with new features and releases of SAP security modules is desirable for this position.
