Painter

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Painters to join our team in Oman. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and finishing techniques to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality results and durability.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and sanding.
  
• Select appropriate paint or coating materials based on the surfaces and project requirements.
  
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  
• Ensure proper drying and curing times between coats.
  
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to protect self and others from hazards.
  
• Clean up work areas and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.
  
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications.
  
• Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed.
  

• Diploma or certification in painting, construction, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a Painter, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  
• Strong understanding of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation methods.
  
• Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work orders.
  
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship.
  
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Physically capable of handling the demands of the job, including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
