This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 5 - 12 LPA) Experience: 4+ yrs Location: Gurgaon, Delhi Job Type: full-time We are looking for a skilled Passive Network Engineer to handle passive networking infrastructure, execute end-to-end projects, and represent in client-facing meetings and technical discussions.
Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and execute passive networking infrastructure projects (structured cabling, fiber optics, patch panels, racks & enclosures) Carry out site surveys and prepare passive network layouts and BOQs Oversee installation of Cat6/Cat6A/fiber cabling, terminations, and testing Coordinate and manage end-to-end project execution — timelines, vendors, and on-site teams Attend client meetings and handle technical discussions related to passive infrastructure Prepare and present project proposals, progress reports, and handover documentation Requirements Minimum 4 years of experience in passive networking and infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems — copper (Cat6/6A) and fiber (OM3/OM4/OS2) Hands-on experience with cable testing tools (Fluke, JDSU or equivalent) Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate with clients and vendors Good communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactions Familiarity with standards: TIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801, BICSI guidelines Must-have skills Fibre optics, structured cabling, Passive Good-to-have skills Fluke Testing, Site Survey, Patch
