We are looking for a Platform Architect for our production team. The role involves:

Platform Architecture & Strategy

• Lead the architectural design ofVialto’sunifiedenterprise product platformsupporting multiple product lines (B2B and B2C).

  
  
  

• Define platform capabilities, service boundaries, and technical patternsandprinciples.

  
  
  

• Develop frameworks and reusable components to accelerate product development across teams.

  
  
  

• Establish architectural standards for microservices, API design, event-driven communication, workflow orchestration, and data integration.

  
  
  

Transformation & Migration

• Assess existing tools, systems, and products to define a migration roadmap into the enterprise platform.

  
  
  

• Identifyopportunities to modernize legacy components,consolidateredundant functionality, and align services to the new platform vision.

  
  
  

• Partner with engineering teams to guide phased migration, ensuring minimal disruption and technical consistency.

  
  
  

Cloud & Technical Architecture

• Architect scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions inMicrosoft Azureusing services such as:

  
  
  

• Azure API Management

  
  
  

• App Services / Functions

  
  
  

• Event Grid / Service Bus

  
  
  

• Azure SQLMI/ Cosmos DB

• Drive adoption of best practices in microservices, distributed systems, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.

  
  
  

• Establish standards for performance, resiliency, multi-tenancy, and security posture.

• Enable intelligent services and automation to enhance global mobility operations and client outcomes.

  
  
  

Patterns We Expect You to Use

• Event-based systems(pub/sub, workflow orchestration, event sourcing whereappropriate)

  
  
  

• Distributed systems(partitioning, resiliency, failure-mode design, consistency tradeoffs)

  
  
  

• Domain-driven integration approaches(bounded contexts, contracts, anti-corruption layers)

  
  
  

• Agentic AI patternsincluding plan/execute/verify loops, tool/function calling, RAG, verifier/critic steps, guardrails, evaluation, and agent observability/auditability. Experience applying these patterns to automate business process flows using Azure OpenAI APIs and orchestration frameworks.

  
  
  

Collaboration & Leadership

• Act as a trusted architectural advisor to product engineering teams and business stakeholders.

  
  
  

• Advocate for platform thinking, technical quality, and long-term sustainability.

  
  
  

• Conduct architectural reviews, provide guidance, and mentor engineers across teams.

  
  
  

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.

  
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering cloud-based enterprise systems.

  
  
  

• StrongexpertiseinMicrosoft Azure,microservicesarchitecture, distributed systems, and DevOps practices.

  
  
  

• ProficiencywithC# / .NET Core, API development, and cloud-native patterns.

  
  
  

• Experience withJavaScript/TypeScript,React,Next.js, and front-end platform integration concepts.

  
  
  

• Demonstrated experience designing platform architectures that support multiple products.

  
  
  

• Familiarity withAzure OpenAI, conversational agents, or generative AI integration.

  
  
  

• Stronggroundinginintegrationpatterns, and system interoperability.

  
  
  

• Excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  
  
  

Preferred

• Priorworkin B2B and B2C product ecosystems or professional services platforms.

  
  
  

• Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and regulatory constraints for global services.

  
  
  

• Background in enterprise transformation or modernization programs.

  
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degreerequired

  
  
  

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred
