Job Description:

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are currently hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Production Engineer (Assembly) located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Our client is a reputed organization in the Electrical Equipment sector looking for skilled and motivated professionals to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily assembly production activities to achieve output and quality targets
  
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards and maintain workplace safety procedures
  
• Lead and supervise shop floor operators and technicians effectively
  
• Analyze production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions for improved efficiency
  
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and safety incidents
  
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for smooth operations
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices
  
• Prepare production reports and communicate operational updates to management
  

Required Skills:

• Production Planning: Managing production schedules and achieving daily targets
  
• Assembly Operations: Hands-on knowledge in assembly line processes and workflows
  
• EHS Compliance: Ensuring adherence to environmental and safety standards
  
• Lean Manufacturing: Supporting productivity and waste reduction initiatives
  
• Team Handling: Supervising operators and developing multi-skilled teams
  

Preferred Skills:

• SAP or ERP exposure
  
• Six Sigma / Lean certification
  
• Knowledge of APSYS implementation
  

Work Experience Requirements:

Candidates should possess 3–6 years of experience in manufacturing or electrical equipment industries with strong exposure to assembly operations. Experience in handling production teams, safety standards, and process improvement initiatives is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with leadership responsibilities.

Education:

• Minimum: Diploma / B.E Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering
  
• Preferred: B.Tech or relevant manufacturing certification
  
• Additional: Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma certification preferred
