The PYP Coordinator is a key member of the Primary Years Pedagogical Leadership Team and will take responsibility for the academic development of all Primary Years students to include implementing, coordinating, leading and ensure effective curriculum planning, teaching, assessment and recording

Education -  Graduate or Postgraduate.MusthaveDegreeinEducationorequivalent(B.Ed.,B.El.Ed., D.El.Ed.,D.Ed.)

DiplomaorotherprogramswithIB

Experience -

Previous experience as PYP Coordinator.

Provide leadership to the school community; regularly keeps faculty and administration informed on PYP matters related to the Primary Years Program and all new/revised IB Primary Years Program publications.

Help teachers to plan, assess, record and evaluate learning and identify and address PYP professional development needs. 

Support and mentor new Primary Years Program teachers and conducting induction intoPrimaryYearsLeadPrimaryyearstaffinplanning,coordinating,implementing,assessingandrecordlearningwithintheframeworkoftheIBPrimaryYearsProgram. 
5to8yearsofworkingexperienceasa Primary Yeargroupteacher4to6yearsofworkingexperienceinleadershipandmanagementinPrimaryYearprogramAtrackrecordofworkingcollaborativelyandproductivelyaspartofateamProvenexperienceindeliveringdifferentiatedlearning.
Expertiseindevelopingindoorandoutdoorenvironmentstopromote highqualitylearninginprimarychildhoodeducationExperiencedintaking IBleveltrainingstothe staff
Experienceofusing assessmentandrecording inthePrimaryYearsasaneffectiveschoolimprovementtool
