As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer - you will make a large impact on dynamic, fast moving Amazon businesses, by improving efficiency and approach to testing. Working backwards from customer needs, you will identify the right sets of tools to build to achieve the best quality and customer experience. You will work in testing ips, peripherals, system use cases, stress cases.
· Create test plans and test cases
· Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products
· Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines
· Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
· Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
· Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
Responsibilities
- Design and build automation from scratch and build automated tests using existing tools and frameworks to expose defects in product code
- Promote Development and QA team’s productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices
- Work directly with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, and Technical Program Managers to ensure building testable and automatable components.
- Mentor junior software quality engineers and SDETs

You will also be responsible for analysing, developing and maintaining a reliable automation framework for the team.

You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will participate in designing, prototyping, and building solutions to hard problems in the Amazon Devices.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bangalore, KA, IND
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
