Summary: VES is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Faridabad, India location. This person will be responsible for Monitoring of in-process Heat Treatment, Welding, Fitting & Drilling Shop, performing inspection of in-process & final stage of centralizer line and verifies conformance to requirements. Follows company safety policies and procedures.         

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with production supervisors to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Monitoring of in-process & final stage of centralizer line, chakra line, monitoring of in-process Heat Treatment, Welding,Fitting & Drilling Shop.
• Ensuring that Traceability records are maintained with logbook & Route card.
• Monitoring of welding process & maintain all documents like WPS,PQR & WPQ.
• Verifies that products meet defined specifications.  
• Responsible for records inspection results in an accurate and timely manner. 
• Responsible for Identifying defective parts using the DPR procedure and elevates items to higher levels review as needed.  
• Identify nonconforming material and questionable defects discovered during inspection.
• Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 Years experience in monitoring of in-process Heat Treatment, Welding,Fitting & Drilling Shop.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Basic knowledge of inspection methods, standards, practices, procedures, and quality assurance/control concepts. 
• Demonstrate proficiency with IM & TE (inspection measuring and testing equipment) used in the facility.
• Demonstrate proficiency in quality inspection techniques used in the facility.
