Risk Data Strategy and Analytics Reporting - Associate

As a Data Strategy and Reporting Analytics Associate, you'll work with the risk team to generate thoughtful analytics and recommendations to the business concerning strategy development, implementation, operational controls, and performance monitoring.

Job Responsibilities:

• Building the ‘next generation’ suite of Risk reports
• Executing the end to end reporting and data standards resulting from the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) principles
• Developing robust data and reporting tools for senior management
• Identify and automate production routines to improve efficiency
• Create and maintain user acceptance test/business scenarios for new or modified reports for all CCB lines of businesses (LOBs)
• Work with Onshore, India Lead, Technology, and LOB Report Owners to analyze and resolve defects
• Work with technology to modify Cognos/Tableau/Alteryx/SAS reports
• Perform data reconciliation and analyze impact to the business based on the results
• Understand CCB lines of businesses and derive reporting requirement for them

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Required at least 3-7 years of experience in Reporting and Analytics.
• Sound technical knowledge on SQL, SAS, Alteryx, Tableau, Excel and Power point.
• Advanced understanding of SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, or other decision tree software
• Ability to query large amounts of data using SQL and transform the raw data into actionable management information
• Familiarity with risk analytic techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience delivering recommendations to management

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Knowledge of regulatory modeling (IFRS9/CECL/CCAR preferred)
