Job Description

As the Salesforce QA, you will be a key member of the Motorola Solutions IT team that supports the Company’s Global Sales division. You will be working closely with our business partners to understand the requirements and ensure the appropriate level of test quality is incorporated into the Salesforce implementations. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, highly collaborative skills, exhibiting excellent problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills. 


Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for testing effort for multiple projects and Salesforce enhancements using onshore/offshore models.


  • Responsible for generating test artifacts including test scenarios, test scripts, test execution status progress reports and defect reports. 


  • Work closely with the test lead, product owners and business analysts to understand the business requirements, conduct necessary testing and communicate test results. 


  • Identify opportunities for automated testing and take a lead on migrating manual test cases to automated scripts. 


  • Work with the DevOps team and incorporate automated testing into the CI/CD build process to ensure code quality is maintained right at the source. 


  • Work closely with the production support team and assist in replicating the production issues in non-production environments and ensure the test quality is maintained in emergency fixes. 


  • Proactive testing approach and ensure the right level of load testing/performance testing is conducted for high impact changes.


  • Maintain and communicate QA metrics to internal and customer stakeholders via metrics reports with transparency.


Preferred Experience and Skills


  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a QA capacity.


  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platform.


  • Experience working in Jira.


  • Preferred experience in automation testing


  • Excellent communication skills.


  • Understanding of test automation framework design models and best practices.


  • Experience in large-scale software deployments that involves multiple interconnected systems.


  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an agile environment.



Basic Requirements
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a QA capacity.


  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platform.


  • ​Experience working in Jira.


  • Experience in Provar automation tool is a huge plus


  • Flexible working in onshore/offshore models.
