We are seeking a Senior Common Data Environment (CDE) Platform Technical Lead to support the design, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise and project-level digital engineering platforms. The ideal candidate will bring solid, hands-on experience with industry-leading CDE solutions, including Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Esri ArcGIS, and GIS Server platforms, while contributing to automation, governance, and technical excellence across engineering and infrastructure projects.

This role combines technical leadership, platform support, automation, and stakeholder engagement to help ensure reliable, secure, and scalable digital engineering environments.

This position will be worked out of one of our offices in India (Bengaluru or Gurgaon). This position accommodates a hybrid work model that will offer in-office and remote working capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise CDE Platform Management

• Support the configuration, administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.

• Administer Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, and GIS Server platforms across projects and business units.

• Help define platform standards, governance, security policies, user management, and best practices.

• Support platform availability, performance, reliability, and disaster recovery efforts.

• Assist with platform upgrades, migrations, integrations, and technology roadmap planning.

Project Delivery Support

• Provide technical support during project mobilization and CDE implementation.

• Configure project environments, workflows, permissions, document control structures, and metadata standards.

• Support engineering and project delivery teams throughout project lifecycles.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to optimize digital engineering workflows.

Automation & Development

• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.

• Automate platform administration, reporting, user provisioning, quality checks, and operational processes.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through scripting and workflow automation.

• Support API integrations between engineering platforms and enterprise systems.

Technical Leadership

• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to CDE platform administrators and support staff.

• Mentor junior administrators and technical specialists.

• Participate in solution architecture, design reviews, and technical governance meetings.

• Contribute recommendations on emerging technologies and platform enhancements.

Platform Integration

• Support integration of CDE platforms with engineering applications, document management systems, GIS platforms, authentication services, and enterprise business systems.

• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure and compliant implementations.

Continuous Improvement

• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.

• Monitor platform health, capacity, and performance metrics.

• Recommend process improvements and industry best practices.

• Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to the digital engineering ecosystem.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or another Engineering discipline with significant IT experience.

• 10-15 years of professional experience supporting enterprise engineering technology platforms.

• Solid hands-on experience administering and supporting:

• Bentley ProjectWise

• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)

• Esri ArcGIS Enterprise

• GIS Server platforms

• Experience supporting enterprise-wide and/or project-specific deployments.

• Experience in PowerShell, Python, or equivalent scripting languages.

• Experience with enterprise authentication, permissions, security, and governance models.

• Experience providing technical guidance to teams supporting enterprise platforms.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Software development and automation skills.

• Experience with REST APIs, SDKs, and platform integrations.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

• Experience with SQL Server or other enterprise databases.

• Familiarity with engineering authoring tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or other CAD/BIM applications.

• CAD Management experience within engineering or construction organizations.

• Experience supporting infrastructure, transportation, utilities, or construction programs.

• Relevant vendor certifications in Bentley, Autodesk, Esri, Microsoft, or cloud technologies are a plus.
