Job Description
Primary functions and essential responsibilities
Key member of an agile development team building & maintaining the Order Management System - using SQL database and customized application configuration (Allvue)
Create and maintain SQL objects such as stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes to match business needs
Active participant in software design and architecture to maintain high standards of development and minimize technical debt
Deliver well-written, organized code following engineering standard processes with an emphasis on quality, CI/CD, and ADO/cloud approach
Establish strong working relationships with the business analysts and development team to build collaboration and ideas for improved efficiencies.
Qualifications
Education:
BS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical training and work experience
Experience Required:
A minimum of 5 years of SQL development experience, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
Prior experience with an alternative asset manager preferred, broader asset management experience is required
Experience in implementing or supporting Allvue/Black Mountain/Everest is hugely beneficial
Experience with SSRS and/or PowerBI is a major plus
Experience with Jenkins, JSON/Rest API or FIX Messaging is strongly preferred.
Experience with integrating systems is a big plus
Familiarity surrounding other development/scripting languages such as C#, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript is beneficial
Experience with working in Agile SDLC and DevOps environment is beneficial
Experience with Deal Pipline
